Pierce College to Host Berman, Sherman Debate

The debate between the Congressmen is part of the school's second Day of Politics.

An hour-long debate by Congressional opponents Rep. Howard Berman and Rep. Brad Sherman will close the second Day of Politics at Pierce College on Thursday.

Leading up to the debate will be discussions of Propositions 30, 32, 34 and 38. Specifically, the schedule for talks is as follows:

11:15 a.m     Proposition  30: Professor of Sociology Dr. James McKeever and Professor of Economics Dr. Pamela Brown of Pierce College and Proposition  38: Dr. Pamela Brown and a representative from YES on 38.

1 p.m.           Proposition 32: Dr. James McKeever and Dr. Pamela Brown.

2:30 p.m.      Proposition 34: History Professor Brian Walsh and Former Republican Congressional candidate Susan Shelley.

4 p.m.           Debate: Congressman Howard Berman and Congressman Brad Sherman.

This Day of Politics, the second of a two-part series, will take place in Pierce College's Great Hall at 6201 Winnetka Ave.
