Physician that Champions Patients to Take that “First Step” to Ride on Kaiser Permanente Rose Parade Float
Dr. Sean Hashmi is an Internal Medicine Specialist and Nephrologist at the Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. He believes in the power of baby steps. As a primary care provider for a mostly adult population, Hashmi encourages his patients to regain control of their lives one step at a time.
When asked about his role as a primary care provider, Hashmi said, “I get to serve as my patients’ personal champion. Each patient’s success is our success. I not only get to play a role in transforming their lives, but I can also encourage them to do the same with their loved ones.”
In addition to his role as a physician, Hashmi is also the Healthy Workforce Champion. He leads weekly “Walk with your Doc” and “Workout with your Doc” programs designed to teach safe and healthy exercise habits.
