Law enforcement officials are requesting residents avoid the area of Owensmouth Avenue and Saticoy Street as they search for an attempted arson suspect.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic 26-year-old male of medium build. The suspect is about 5'8" and was last seen wearing a black tank top and blue shorts.
An alert by the Los Angeles Police Department asks members of the public to not approach the suspect, but to call 911 if they see the him.
