Caviar Vending Machines Come to Woodland Hills Mall

Find the machines on the second floor at the Westfield Topanga mall.

Soda, candy, chips, cigarettes and even lottery tickets are the norm when it comes to vending machines. There's even a famous cupcake vending machine in Beverly Hills. But shoppers at the Westfield Topanga mall have yet another choice when it comes to dropping money into a machine for goodies.

Only, instead of putting quarters in, shoppers will have to drop the big bucks—like hundreds—for the fish eggs with which Beverly Hills Caviar is stocking machines. An ounce of Imperial River Beluga Caviar is $500. And if you've forgotten a spoon with which to eat it, you can get a pink mother of pearl one for the bargain price of $5, reports Zagat.

Machines have been installed at Westfield Century City and the Burbank Town Center as well. According to NBC news, each vending machine is stocked with about $50,000 worth of product.

On its Facebook page, the store calls the machines "caviar boutiques" and touts they also sell truffles, escargot, Bottarga, Blinis, oils, gift boxes and gourmet salts.

At Westfield Topanga, find the vending machine across from Zara on the second level.
