Know of a Business Opening or Closing in Woodland Hills?

Tell Patch who’s moving in, moving out and shaking things up in Woodland Hills.

Sprouts & Shutters is a new business column that tracks store openings and closings in Woodland Hills.

Whether you're a business owner about to open a new establishment or a local resident who noticed a “Coming Soon” or “Out of Business” sign, tell Patch about it by sending an email to woodlandhills@patch.com. Don't worry if you don't have all the details—tips are helpful, too, but please include a business name and city.

The information will be used for the Sprouts & Shutters column and to update the business directory.

I'm wondering what's going into the Acapulco building on Ventura Blvd, and the Casa de Carlos?

@heathermayer I don't know if your familiar with the GastroPub "The Local Peasant" in Sherman oaks, there opening a second location in the former Casa de Carlos, the grand opening will possilbly be in March or early April. I'm not sure what's opening in the old acapulco building, but Salt & Pepper Cuisine, a upscale Persian steakhouse is opening up the street. Grand Opening will be in.a few weeks, I went to the soft opening and it's a very nice addition to woodland Hills.

Also you should check-out BLVD coffeehouse Cafe on Ventura blvd. It opened about a month ago, great local coffee shop, always great to support your local small businesses rather than national coffee chains. Great Coffeehouse.
