Business travelers visiting Woodland Hills will soon have another hotel option catering especially to them. A new Courtyard by Marriott is set to open this month.
The six-story 122-room hotel is located at 21101 Ventura Boulevard, between Canoga and De Soto avenues and, according to a statement issued by the company, will have a lobby environment devoted to business with semi-private media pods, a home theater and Wi-Fi in a variety of seating areas.
A key component of the Courtyard lobby is the hotel's GoBoard 4.0, which presents local information, maps, weather and headline news on a 55-inch LCD touch screen. It also features mobile integration, enabling guests to send directions from the board directly to their smart phones. Guests can also touch the screen for immediate access to detailed flight information for local airports, popular entertainment and local event information, as well as walking directions.
A business library features several computer terminals, along with a printer and separate computer stations dedicated solely to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status.
Guest rooms will also have functional work space, a separate seating area and complimentary in-room high-speed Internet.
