All westbound lanes were closed for about 45 minutes during the early morning commute.

A multi-vehicle collision with possible injuries closed the westbound 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills this morning as the morning commute was getting under way, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At least four vehicles were involved in the crash, which was reported at 4:37 a.m. at DeSoto Avenue, said CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Paramedics were sent to examine people at the scene for possible injuries, but there was no indication that anyone had been transported for hospital treatment, the CHP reported.
