Scene in Woodland Hills: Going Old Old School

The Topanga Vintage Market takes place at the promenade on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Looking for an antique rocking chair, hat rack or dishes? What about costume jewelry or drawer handles? Or just something to do outdoors for an hour or so? The Topanga Vintage Market might be for you.

The pop-up market (think along the lines of a farmers or flea market with booths and tables for vendors) takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month in the parking lot of the Westfield Promenade near the corner of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Oxnard Streeet. Admission is $2 for adults; Children 11 and younger are admitted free. The next Vintage Market takes place Aug. 26.

Here's what the scene looked like early Sunday afternoon.
