Woodland Hills' 5 Things to Know Today: Aug. 7

Good morning, Woodland Hills! Here are a few bits of information to start the week.

  1. will host a children's story time at 11 a.m.
  2. Farmers market takes place Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente, 5601 DeSoto Ave.
  3. And on Saturday, the Movies on the Green summer series will feature Close Encounters of the Third Kind at 7 p.m. at Warner Center Park.
  4. According to the National Weather Service, Woodland Hills' high today will be about 104 degrees, with a low of about 66 degrees overnight.
  5. The lowest price of gas in Woodland Hills, according to GasBuddy.com, is $3.71 per gallon and can be found at the Arco station at 22004 Clarendon St., the Thrifty station at 6000 N. Canoga Ave. and United Oil at 19706 Ventura Blvd.
