UPDATE: LAFD Knocks Down Grass Fire at Woodland Hills Border

The small blaze was at Victory and Valley Circle boulevards.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has knocked down a small grass fire west of Victory Boulevard on Valley Circle Boulevard.

The 150-foot by 50-foot fire was attacked by 30 LAFD firefighters from the ground and air, according to department spokesperson Erik Scott via LAFD alert.

The fire, which was put out in about 40 minutes, was located in Ventura County Fire Department jurisdiction, the alert said. VCFD was arriving on the scene at 2:50 p.m.
