Man Commits Suicide by Jumping from Marriott Hotel Room in Woodland Hills

The incident occurs around 1:30 p.m.

Los Angeles police and fire units were called to the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills Tuesday afternoon after an adult male reportedly jumped out of a window and committed suicide, according to Officer Sara Faden with the LAPD Media Relations Section. 

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., according to Faden, who added that it wasn't yet clear which floor the man had jumped from.  

The death was ruled a suicide and the case is now in the hands of the coroner's office. The man has not been publicly identified yet while authorities attempt to reach the man's next-of-kin.
