Person Injured in Woodland Hills in Crash with LAFD Fire Truck

The accident in the 20900 block of Ventura Boulevard occurs about 12:40 p.m.

An accident involving a fire truck in Woodland Hills Tuesday left a person injured, a fire department spokesman said.

The accident in the 20900 block of Ventura Boulevard occurred about 12:40 p.m., said Brian Humphrey of the fire department.     

Humphrey had no immediate information on how the accident occurred, but he did say the fire truck was responding to an emergency. He described the injured person as a civilian.

Hmm, wonder if the lights and/or siren was on? If so, after this person heals, make sure they are sited, go before a judge and pass the price for not yielding. I see so much of this around town if that's the case. Everyone in such a hurry, "I'll make the light", "they see me", "how cares", "my radio was too loud", I wasn't paying attention".... "...." Yep, if it was one of those, throw the book at the putz. Then publish their name and the idiotic reason they got convicted. Someday they might be coming to your aid and can't get there because of those types
