Police Arrest Two Woman During Dispensary Raid

The women are set to appear in court Sept. 20.

Two women were arrested Tuesday afternoon during a raid on medical marijuana dispensary in Woodland Hills.

Anna Woods, 21, of Thousand Oaks, and Carmen Hsieh, 22, of Los Angeles were booked on suspicion of felony possession for sales of marijuana, according to a Los Angeles police statement.

The dispensary is located on the 21100 block of Ventura Boulevard.

"Investigators recovered approximately $1,000 in cash from the dispensary and approximately 10 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $30,000," according to the police statement.

Police said they obtained the search warrant after an investigation into illegal sales of marijuana from the dispensary.

In addition to Woods and Hsieh, investigators planned to seek an arrest warrant for one additional suspect who was not at the dispensary during the raid, according to the statement.

The wormen were released on $20,000 bail, according to inmate records. They are set to appear in Van Nuys Municiple Court Sept. 18.
