Police Holding Open House to Return 1,500 Pieces of Stolen Jewelry

The jewelry turned up after officers arrested two burglars in Woodland Hills several weeks ago.

Police are holding an open house next week to find the owners of some 1,500 pieces of stolen jewelry, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.

The jewelry turned up after officers arrested two burglars in Woodland Hills several weeks ago, the newspaper said. At one suspect's home, police found cameras, more than 1,500 pieces of jewelry, 20 pairs of binoculars and even a guitar signed by the rock band Green Day.

To try to get the stolen goods back to the rightful owners, police will hold an open house Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Topanga Division, 21501 Schoenborn St., Canoga Park.
