Rape Reported in Woodland Hills

Police say there's no need for worry about a predator on the loose.

Among significant crimes reported last week was a rape taking place in a residential area of Woodland Hills.

According to officials at the Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Station, a juvenile is involved and investigations are ongoing, so officers declined to comment on the case.

Detective John Alviani, coordinator for the sexual assault unit at the station, did say there's no need for anyone to be worried about a predator.
