Woman Found Dead in Woodland Hills Residence

The woman's killer remains at large.

A woman was fatally shot at a residence in Woodland Hills, and her killer remained at large Friday, authorities said.

The 61-year-old woman was found dead about 8:20 p.m. Thursday in the 5600 block of Mason Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Christopher No of the Media Relations office.

Her name was withheld, pending notification of her next of kin.

The circumstances of the shooting were under investigation.
