Woodland Hills Weekly Crime Report: 41 Crimes

Crimes within a two-mile radius of Topanga Canyon and Ventura boulevards dropped by almost half. Check below for a break-down of what happened.

Last week, from Monday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 24, crimes committed within a two mile radius of Topanga Canyon and Ventura boulevards dropped significantly, according to police reports on crimemapping.com. The site reported 41 crimes this week compared to last week's 19.

The crime statistics from the week break down like this:

  • 18 cases of petty theft (theft of a value of less than $950; includes shoplifting)
  • 8 cases of burglary (entry of a structure with the intent to commit theft or a felony)
  • 12 cases of theft from a vehicle
  • 2 stolen vehicles
  • 1 case of forcible rape
