Woodland Hills Football Teams Score One Win, One Loss Friday

Taft High defeats South East 26-22.

Both of Woodland Hills' High Schools' football teams played games Friday night, but only one came away with a win.

According to MaxPreps, Taft, on the road, beat South East High School, after taking the lead in the fourth quarter, with a win of 26-22. The sports website called Devon Hawkins, who caught one touchdown, the standout player for the Toreadors.

The team next takes on Saugus in a non-conference game.

The Conquistadors of El Camino Charter High School did not fare so well against Van Nuys at Van Nuys High. According to MaxPreps, the team lost 24-6. Details of Friday night's game were not yet available at the time of this posting.
