Taft Girls Volleyball Beats Chatsworth to Advance to City Sectional Title Match

The Toreadors will take on Venice High for the championship Saturday.

After a win against Chatsworth High Tuesday, Woodland Hills' Taft High girls volleyball is on its way to the city sectional title game.

Taft beat the Chancellors in the home match by a score of 3-0, according to MaxPreps.com.

The school has a tradition of impressive volleyball. The team's website notes the lady Torreodors have made 18 CIF championship apprearances and three CIF state playoff appearances.

They will face Venice High Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Roybal Learning Center, 1200 Colton St., Los Angeles.
