Pierce is a two-year public college, providing opportunities for occupational training, transfer education and learning about life. Students earn an Associates Degree upon graduation. Pierce College was founded in 1947 and is fully-accredited. It is located on 426-acres, in the western San Fernando Valley. Pierce offers state-of-the-art equipment in the science and athletic buildings. There is a 226-acre farm on the west side of campus, for agricultural students.
