No One Injured in Woodland Hills House Fire

The fire was confined in 16 minutes.

No one was injured in a fire that broke out in a home near El Camino High School in Woodland Hills Friday night.

The fire was reported at 8:57 p.m. at a home on the 5300 block of N. Manton Ave., said Matt Spence of the Las Angeles Fire Department.

Rescuers arriving at the location reported heavy smoke coming from a garage, Spence said.

With 26 firefighters on the scnee, the fire was confined to the garage in 16 minutes, Spence said.
